Ah, that's where I can't help anymore- my details work with the @telkomsa.net login.
 
Downloads are horrible. 579MB file requires 50 min on 4Mb line. Change to Vox, 20Min required.

Really sad.
 
Damn still battling, getting a quarter of the download speed I should be.

I've checked the usage tracker and fup is not n play.

The Telkom social team did however make some adjustments to the port profile and bang it is 100s.

Always have good experiences with the Twitter team.
 
Good Day All,

This might be slightly off topic, but just would like to find out if anyone else in the Glen Marais Kempton Park area is aware of Fibre been rolled out.

I received a letter from Open Serve indicating they will be rolling out Fibre in Glen Marais estimating within the next month or so.
I called the number on the letter whereby the Gentlemen confirmed this is legitimate.

I would like to find out if anybody else in the Glen Marais area received the same letter and if they possibly can confirm if this is true.

I'm diagnosing a speed/latency issue for a neighbour who just signed up with Telkom Internet. Are others experiencing this as well?

Speed isn't an issue, because YouTube tests ran just fine, but actual speed tests, browsing, and some HTTP downloads are really, really bad.
