The Telkom daily usage notification service was stopped on 16th June in my case and I and two clients have been capped (validly I hasten to add) without the 80% or the final "you have been capped" emails. However, the Telkom usage site is still up and reporting correctly.

Is something stirring within the beast or is the notification system just bust?

Lets hope it's something to do with changing cap limits :)

Its because they cut all the copper cables and replacing with fibre, so we all gonn have 20mbps lines by the end of the month

ya right

I have been getting correct details every day of the month this month for a change

The only thing stirring at Telkom is the beginning of a rather noxious bowel movement.

Someone at Telkom must keep an eye on this forum - I just received the following

A friendly notification that according to our records your online usage as at [2010-06-27 23:59:59] reflected the following:
and then the usual stats

Guess the notification service was bust after all :(

Bankrupcy?

You could well be right - here's an extract fom my mail to [email protected] today:

Day one of the new months cap & you claim I have used 888MB already!

This conflicts with the stats from my IPCop firewall which shows 443.9MB (see below)

Your stats are (with decimals rounded up) exactly twice what they should be. I was really hoping that Telkom would double my cap or increase my line speed this month, the last thing I expected was that you would double the actual usage.

Please resolve ASAP.

:wtf:
