Hey guys, so my ADSL lines in my area was stolen , and after a week of Telkom saying they will be repairing the lines soon, today the status has changed to "We will not be replacing the ADSL lines" .... Which is a bit of an issue as I don't have anyone doing fibre in my area.

Fun times, in 2019 I live in a major city where I am unable to get fixed internet, VIVA Afrika!

Anyway, this leaves me in a hell of a situation, I need a provider that can match or come close to what I had before, which was 40mbp/s VDSL and 800GB a month. The problem is the "Large" Lte packages go up to about 200, which is freaking no where close to being large, and if you find uncapped LTE, you get 4mbps

Is there any alternative that would make a difference in this situation?

Which suburb of pta are you in?

Looks like Frogfoot is busy in your area (or close to it at least)

Unfortunately they are doing the rest of Pretoria first, a pin close to my house :

The problem is I see there are Wireless ISP's, But they are still in 2012 with their pricing and speed. One provider advertises "Super Fast internet" But their fastest package is 15mbp/s for R2300 p/m ... At that rate I can get business fibre on the DFA network as I have a DFA Business line running by my house, which I can't get residential fibre on

Move across the M22 or have fibre installed there then link it back over the m22 with los wireless if no obstructions.

supersonic fixed lte R999 a month true uncapped, mtn by far runs the best mobile network in SA.
