Telkom customers cannot access Guildwars 2 servers as of yesterday 09/09/2016 at approximately 3pm.
I refer to Anet technical staff's findings:
"Thank you all for sending the client logs. We believe the issue is caused by regional ISPs. There are outage reports from CenturyLink customers in the same areas. It’s likely causing network issues between our game clients and our CDN provider and possibly between the CDN edge nodes to our backend servers."
Telkom seems to have some connection to CenturyLink, perhaps infrastructure sharing?
Right now all Guildwars 2 players using Telkom as ISP can not access Guildwars 2 servers.
Various South African players did confirm this on the Guildwars2 forums, we cannot even connect to the forums, need to create a VPN just to get in.
Anyone around to assist?
