Telkom line speed upgrade

Hi,

I am looking to upgrade my telkom line speed this month.

I have a 384k line going to a 1024k line

1) Will I pay the 384k + 1024line this month
Or
2) Will I pay pro rata (i.e 8 days of 384 and 21 days of the 1024line)

Please post here if you manage to get your line upgraded...

After hearing from a whole lot of people including the guy at telkom that it will take anywhere from 5 min to 72 hours I have been waiting now almost a week for them to upgrade me from 384kbps to 1mbps, everyday I phone them and they say I'm in a queue but can't elaborate on when my line will actually be upgraded, I will be curios to know if you actually manage and how long it takes you...

And my line has synced at 10mbps before so it's clearly not an issue with the area or DSLAM...
