Telkom line

My Telkom line is constantly up and down, with my attenuation getting higher and higher, was 21 in Jan last year and now at 57, Have had a few telkom techies out and all of them have told me the fault is underground between the dslm and my road, im told lots of people in my area are complaining about the same thing, so why has it not been fixed, when i ask when it will be fixed im told that nobody can tell me when but it has been reported, the first time i was told this was over 6 months ago and still no progress has taken place at all.Is there any way i can find out if it will ever be sorted out.

Have you escalated your fault? I use to have same problem, but after escalalating a lot they eventually fixed it (Think they got tired of me calling and complaining ). Now my line runs perfect all the time. Think being persistent is only way to fix it and get hold of the manager of your area and local telkom store they can help you also.

well i have over and over again, yesterday the sent me a sms telling me the fault has been resolved, Lastnight my internet was up and down so much i could not even download mail, nevermind surf the net.
