Telkom Local Charge?

The highest charge I've heard of was somewhere around R3500... and that was when it just started. The people were really not impressed.

On any Telkom package, you just pay R21 (or R19) per GB for every GB that you go over your limit.

Every 1GB package includes 10GB free local, while the promotion runs. This means that a 3GB package gives you 30GB local and after the 30GB you pay per GB, but you won't be capped, it's uncapped.

This does not work on the topup feature hey!

You need to buy a new account!

I purchased 3x 1gb accounts last month and still got charged for the 30GB local I went over on my 3gb account (I did 60gb)

So dont think u topup with 1gb and get 10gb free, it does not work like that.

Why would anyone in their right frame of mind want to top up their Telkom account? WebAfrica and Axxess Prepaid is all you need.

You get unlimited local on any month to month Telkom account, you just pay for it.

has anyone went over by a ridiculously high amount of gigs and did not get charged?

Well, i've been charged. R3000! Got billed for 2 months in 1 go.
Did about 100gigs over my limit for 2 months. So 60gig and 40gig.

I feel ripped off being charged for local bw.
