Telkom "local internet hours"

HI. Not sure if this is in the right place but i have a question about the Telkom "local internet hours" that you get with the Closer calling plans.

What are those? Is it dial-up internet? what is the speed of that?
 
i think it's probably dial-up because i don't recall ISDN being billed in time segments, lets see, roughly 270kB per minuet -blazing... :)

ISDN and modem are both billed at standard Telkom call rates with special after-hour deals.

ISDN beats analogue modem hands down in the data transferred per minute stakes but neither are cheap as you pay for the time you are connected (even if you're not using it :().
On the bright side both are "uncapped" products :D

I can't think of a good reason for using either in 2011 assuming your exchange is ADSL enabled.
