Anyone noticed issues or slow response DNS from Telkom LTE network in the last couple of days?

It's been a issue for me for a while. 70Mbps download speed but so slow browsing. I now force all my devices to use 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

Excuse my ignorance but I've also been experiencing the same issue.

How do I go about implementing your solution above?

I have also been experiencing strange issues on Telkom's LTE, but haven't been able to pin-point it.

My latency in Diablo 3 has become very unstable, and streaming from Netflix has gone to hell (with or without Unotelly VPN).

Doing speed tests indicate no problems with speeds over 30Mbps, and Youtube streams just fine. Pings to the UK (google.co.uk) are at a very stable 200-230ms.

Something very weird is going on!

Yup same thing, have forced all DNS via firewall to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. But here is the funny thing at home, perfect speed test of around 30Mpbs and all streaming/downloading etc fine. But at the office speed is only 10Mbps if luck. And even more strange is at home I have to use an antenna and at the office we get a full signal. I suspect overloaded towers with not enough bandwidth to cope with all the connections.

Does this sound like a DNS issue to you guys?
Also on Telkom LTE, 50+50 contract.
30ms Ping, 48Mbps DL, 4.7Mbps UL but browsing is slow, NNTP runs at about 900kbps, usually 5mbps and Http downloads run at 20 - 30kbps. Youtube on 480 buffers as well.

What Type of Signal are you getting?

After an extended power failure, during which I think the closest tower may have reset, everything is back to normal.
I wouldn't know if the signal strength has changed as I still have the same speedtest results but the throughput has improved drastically since then. I have always been on 3 out 5 bars on the router.
How do I check the signal statistics anyway? I have the Telkom LTE b593 router.
