Telkom LTE reconnection issues

Hey guys

Lately i and many others have been experiencing issues reconnecting to the Telkom LTE network. After restarting the router, The router says no service or cannot find telkom LTE network.

Many work arounds have worked such as setting network mode to manual or reseating the SIM card.

However these work arounds have not fixed the issue. Has anyone figured out what the problem is??? Telkom support are clueless!

The problem IS Telkom. I just leave my router alone now and it reconnects once Telkom have sorted their sh*t. Can take from a few minutes to a few hours. It's a case of hurry up and wait.
 
My router is also doing that now. Takes much longer to reconnect, it eventually does after 5 or 10 minutes.

Yeah same thing here. Often pulling plug and plugging back in works. But on phone it cannot connect to LTE for ages and then eventually connects.
 
I can't even get it to work in my iphone, s8 or mifi device, when I put the sim back into the b315 can take hours to come right
 
Something that I found works is using the HiLink App. It's much quicker to connect than using 192.168.8.1.
Basically, search for networks, repeatedly click on Telkom(4G) until it says Success.
This usually does the trick, if not it'll be disconnected for hours or until I remove the sim etc.

I'm having the issue on all my devices. It's driving me insane. What's the point of offering great data deals if you can't use it?
