When I switch my router to LTE, speedtest.mybroadband.co.za doesnt even load to do a speed test :crylaugh:

Having the same problem in Benoni area. Its been like this for about a week at any time of the day

@OP Are you using an LTE dongle or router ? Since I switched to a router my download speed went up from 1.5MB/s - 2.5MB/s to 15MB/s - 25MB/s

Mine turned to scht about March last year. Since then I got fibre and in the process of cancelling. They completely oversold it with specials in higher density areas.

Telekom attached a box to the pole in our back garden. They secured the cable/s with cable ties which have already broken. The cables are sagging to 2 metres above ground.

Didn't even last 6 months.

Using the LTE router with external antenna - was fine in the beginning but been going downwards the last 3 months or so. I still have a call open with Telkom - hoping they'll sort it out after the crazy season. Suspect the tower's cell is faulty - luckily me neighbour having same issues and also reported.
