Telkom mail

help needed with telkom mail. I've never setup the telkom mail that comes with the dsl accounts I have.

How do I do this ?

You need to use MS Outlook and set it up via the Tools -> Email Accounts menu.

right, in outlook or whatever prog you're using; create an account. the incomming server is pop3.telkomsa.net and the outgoing is smtp.saix.net
for username, only type up to the "@" and finally enter the password they gave you.

Great, as far as setting up the email client, I have no problem with that.

But what is the email address and password. Is it the same as the dsl router logon & pass ?

They should give you the username and password for your email. It's not the same as your internet username and password.
