I have to agree with doobiwan... It's not like the problems we deal with with Vodacom3G where people say "my reception is bad" "I need an external ariel, what should i get?"
It would be like saying "Vodacom's prices are crap. fix them."
I don't believe for one second that Telkom aren't aware of the reasons most people here are pissed off:
- cap
- shaping
- unknown contention ratios
- price
- anti-competative behaviour (telkom internet, hard caps, line rental)
- line rental again
- speed
- isp's limitations in providing competitive adsl options
- international bandwidth cost
I know this doesn't answer your question as to the structure of how we should interact with a Telkom rep, I just don't know what interactions we can expect to have that will be of value?
The issues listed above are the problems we're all facing (not all the problems, but I think the major ones - I've missed some I'm sure). They're also things Telkom is doing intentionally, so its not like they don't know that is the way things are.
