Telkom mobile and WhatsApp

Anyone else noticed that since the roaming has switched from mtn to Vodacom, WhatsApp connection has become very erratic. Even though I have full signal and able to do a speed test at over 10Mbps, I'm not able to send/receive a small photo.

This happens when Connected to a Telkom or Voda towers.

Any help will be much appreciated :)
 
Im also struggling, i get ' no signal' message on my fone whenever I'm in a roaming zone

how do you go about doing this?

also getting constant connection issues where it will keep saying connecting

this applies to WhatsApp and Instagram. Many times pictures are unable to download at all from WhatsApp despite full lte signal. My settings are on automatic for carrier selection
 
I really can't be the only person with this crap WhatsApp and Instagram experience. I have now restored my phone to factory and started afresh not using a backup. And the problem persists

Cant download any pictures from Instagram or WhatsApp ... And it takes forever to connect to WhatsApp. And Telkom every single god damn time gives me a robotic repsonse saying it's my reception and I should buy bundles for Telkom R ...

I think your problems are related to poor data speeds on TM.
I'm forced to switched to Telkom R most times because of pathetically slow data speeds on TM

For me on telkom, it's just the irritating random "no service" notifications on my phone. It just randomly loses connection every now and then for some odd reason.
 
I've been having non stop issues with whatsapp this weekend. Slow loading or no loading at all. On my phone I have a 20GB Freeme bundle so roaming or nog should not matter.

Exact same situation. No matter where in gp I be. Today though things are working again
