Telkom mobile coverage at Stellenbosch

My son is starting at Stellenbosch uni next year and I want to make sure he gets decent mobile and data coverage. Does anyone know what Telkom mobile's coverage is like on campus?

Also, what data options do they (Stellenbosch Uni) cater for students - is there Wifi? Is it available in the dorm, at lectures, around campus? What does it cost?
