Telkom mobile issue... I think

Hi guys.

I really need your help. I have an s7 on telkom mobile. When I got the phone the battery was great but since the last update it's been bad. The update was a delayed updated for telkom mobile users. I've taken the phone to samsung and they say it's a network issue that's draining the battery. The strange thing is I live in the same house and work at the same place so how can the network suddenly drain the batter due to poor signal. They did load the software again but the battery is just as bad. So to all telkom mobile users using the s7, do you guys have the same issue?

I have the S7 Edge on Vodacom and I travel a lot for work. I have noticed when my phone switches between HSDPA, 3G and Edge, that the battery drains quickly. Maybe try switching off the automatic network switching option and see if it makes any difference.

You need to force roam on MTN. Telkom is bad with batteries.
