telkom modems

hi there,

telkom have 2 modems to choose from a billion vgt and a siements giga762, both are R1399.

can anyone recommend which is a better option?

I will go for the Billion one, but telkom's modems are overpriced! You can get a wireless Billion for around R800 at Matrix.

Billion 800VGT supports Ipsec/PPTP/L2TP VPN's. Do not think the Siemens supports VPN's---If I had to pay R1399 the Router would defnitly need to support VPN's and VoIP.

Not sure what you are going to use the Router for........

Hi i would recommend the Billion 800VGT,much easier to work with and the features are amazing with a reasonable price!
