Telkom mucking it up again?

And people complain when Telkom support staff ask if the customer has up-to-date AV on their PC ...

Hmm, I don't want to be impolite, so I won't reply to this one ...

My AV updates like 3 times daily, my firewall gave me a warning and I told it to delete the bad file right away ... which it obviously didn't do. Win 7 here, thought it's so supersafe. Seriously contemplating a migration to Ubuntu now.

And I stick with my opinion about Telclowns. It's unrelated to the latest affair but they never give you good service. They caused more than enough grief for me during the last few years. Since a couple of months they are switching the connection OFF every night. They have bad spikes, they have the worst unhelpline, they give you lots of different stories, they don't do nothing to relly fix the problems. So!

Telkom upped my bandwidth to 20Gig and reduced my line from 4Meg to <128K by the looks of it.
I guess they will argue it is uncapped as at that speed I could never use 20Gig :)

I hope it comes right soon, a <100Meg PDF has taken over 2 Hours so far and says it estimates another 2 Hours to be completed.
Fax would have been faster.

Yip, my speeds during the day are still less than half, about 128kbps. Also lag spikes while playing TF2,bloody irritating.
