Telkom & MWEB ADSL Performance Indicators: Latest data released

I think there has been a small drop in the overall performance of MWEB ADSL. The other problem is their call centre...
 
Will happen if everyone is moving from Telkom to MWEB...
 
the possible reason for M web's poor performance is that, in order for them to maintain the uncapped business model they sacrifice their contention ratio which in term affects the quality of their service. with all due respect to Mweb on their efforts on the ADSL space, the service however comes at a cost. its a trade off, whether you pay telkom and get good quality, only the service and not the delivery, or go with mweb and you will never have any real time services.
 
These indicators do not matter if 70% of the time your adsl line cannot sync/work. In that way it should take the round-trip time to infinity.

Gee, if my adsl was that temperamental I'd close my account and move to something like wireless. But I guess everyone likes spending their money in their own way.
 
I switched from Telkom to Mweb uncapped last month and I have to say i'm not very impressed, its slow and often dies entirely. Uncapped is pretty useless if its slow / never works, i'm giving it until the end of Feb to try then switching back to Telkom if it still sux.
