I own the Telkom Netgear DGN2200Mv2 - problem is
There are no pre-built/compiled firmwares (DD-WRT, Open-WRT, Tomato, etc etc) for it that I've found
Secondly you are still going to need to unlock it, it appears Telkom totally removed some of the features required to mod it. I'm not too clued up on modding routers manually (as in, hacking bootloaders etc) So I've just kept it as a spare.
You're far better of purchasing a router that *IS* supported by a third party ROM and putting your current router in bridged-mode.
Or purchase a new cheap DSL Modem with bridged (pppoe) mode and installing IP Fire on a spare old PC (www.ipfire.org) which is a superb choice for a good x86 based router that does proxy, filtering, QoS, VPN and so on.
