ya same here!!! can someone please be so kind and upload the old firmware(v1.0.0.27) and post a link here? Duxburg should've made it convenient by psting the link here instead of just giving 1 person the link
 
Okay well I got the firmware today and I uploaded it!

V1.0.0.27_1.0.27.zip

Just download from here and then upload to your router again! All settings will be the same!

The netgear site describes a method to 'un-brick' the modem using TFTP. From what I understand one needs tftp & the (stock standard) firmware.

Sorry for digging up this old thread, but has someone actually tried to tftp the default firmware for this router?

I'm having multiple issues, nothing great or deal breaking but it irks me to know that it could have been better, I contacted the Duxbury support and if nothing else works I'll be doing this as a last resort.
 
Just an update for anyone interested, Duxbury informed me that they are indeed working on releasing a new firmware, but no ETA. Lets just hope it is sooner than later.
 
any update on debranding or a new firmware ??????
 
DGN2200Mv2.. this thing pisses me off, no more than a week, it keeps bouncing its PPPoE connection, and also drops WiFI, I am going to moer Telkom.

I am having the same problems. Could it be a bad batch of modems ???
 
also had the same problem. its the latest firmware. you need to downgrade to an old version. has anyone had any success putting netgear firmware on here? i really want to readyshare feature to work on the USB port the way its supposed to.
 
Same problem here. Got telkom to swop it out, as I thought it was the router. New one does the same. :(
 
I downloaded latest firmware ( .41) ....... Still resets. What is strange is that it happens almost to the second, on the hour. Loses wifi every half an hour . Frustrating ! :mad:
 
Had the same problem with my Netgear. I decided its time to get rid of that thing, as it just messed up my experience, so I get myself a D-link. D-link only restarts once every blue moon, but other than that, it runs rather smoothly.

Thanks for this! Just got the router a couple of weeks ago and it was rebooting every 3 hours. Since I rolled back, no disconnects. How Telkom can not know about this fault is beyond me?!?
 
BTW, the guys that are running v27, don't you find that you have to restart your router everyday? When I still used mine, I had to restart it every day, since I was experiencing very slow internet connection, even though it synced correctly...?
 
Does the firmware auto-update? I seem to have .47 and I definitely haven't updated since last year.
