I am tired of being raped by Vodacom with their ludicrous 3G rates without even as much as a thanks for the rape.
So I have ordered a Telkom Line and ADSL to have a few issues with regards to my address not being verified.

This is the 2nd order in as many days as the 1st consultant never completed the order and no one (4 consultant) were able to confirm my order with the customer number).
We went as far confirming all details for the original order: Line Options, Debit Order Date, Broadband option, etc.
I even asked her if all was now approved and she merrily said yes, the next call will be from the technicians to confirm the possible date of installation.

The address has now been verified but it seems that it is still blocked and the consultant is unable to proceed with the order.
What now?
Has anyone else had this problem?
Is there anything I can do, bribe, murder to get this completed?

12500 posts? how can you not have adsl?

i would just keep annoying them. remember to get reference numbers and ask to speak to supervisors.

Kage, as I told you before, my friend ordered ADSL via Mweb. I think they then order the Telkom line for you also on your behalf. Perhaps try that route????

*cough*
I had to order a Telkom line first. :o

huh? I thought ADSL is wireless and you use your big ass to receive the signal!!!! LOL *runs*

No, what I mean is he did the full application with mweb. They then apply for you with Telkom to get the line installed.

I ordered on 31 March and have my order number and all. The thing is I get this crappy reply from Telkom that there are now ports available and that they will begin with my order on 29 May. Why must I wait this long????
Did they never stop and think that there will be more ADSL users???

Phone them every day (from a fixed line to their toll-free number) and ask for a progress report and whether a port has become available yet.

BTW: welcome to MyBB !!!

Sorry for going off subject here, or am I?:p
Moggie you also have a healthy (or not) post count! Only noticed it now as Kage's post count were mentioned a couple of times.
:D
