So on Friday morning I converted my Prepaid line to a normal phone line with the purpose to order ADSL and hopefully get the service (which I had to wait months for last time and had no option of self install because of port shortage or whatever)

I'm "pushing" it and phone them up every couple of hours pretending its urgent that I know if I'm eligible for the self install and if it can happen or not (I have Wimax but they won't let me move it to the new premises because it's in a different province + hold on all orders)

So today I make a stink, how DARE they not let me know by now (I mean seriously didn't expect anything since its only been 2 working days)

My ADSL is installed and finished just waiting to verify it by me plugging the modem in

lol don't worry about it. I'm okay. Moving my services over to Web Africa as soon as it's verified. That way my dad won't get a phone bill shock.

From my experience Telkom charges in advance, so you may expect to get charged in your first bill, even if you log a request to move the service to WA... happened to me with Axxess ...

Write it down so that you can enable your line when you get home.
You'll need your ADSL self-install order number.
