Telkom options not tabled before Cabinet

Did anyone - anywhere in the world - think that the DOC would meet this deadline ?

"The spokesperson said that they don’t have the reasons why the options weren’t presented to Cabinet, adding that “maybe it will come later”."
They are just checking the easiest way to loot more money for their comrades in this whole deal.
And put a positive spin on the looting.
 
This is probably more about getting the share price to hit rock bottom, before they take it over
Then they will list it again in few years.

Translation: Dinosaurus Pule did not do her homework and struggled to dig three options out of the brain she sits on.
 
They (DOC) never even presented the KT deal to cabinet, that is why it was blocked. From what I heard the person supposed to do the presentation (I would assume Pule) showed up 2 hours late, unbriefed and without a presentation of any kind.

Even if that were true (which I'm sure it is not, and certainly not the subject of this news article), Zuma's cabinet would have to be brain dead if they didn't find out about the KT/Telkoma deal from other sources (the deal was the subject of many media reports over a period of several months and cabinet could have stomped on the deal long before they finally did).

I suspect it is more likely that cabinet+cANCer members were deliberately manipulating Telkoma's shareprice where this whole KT deal is concerned.

I have it on pretty good authority as to what happened. Cabinet can not make a decision on these sort of things without a presentation, in the case of no presentation there is a unanimous no vote.

Are you sure you are not confusing the KT deal with alternatives to the KT deal? This article is about the latter not being presented to cabinet by Pule.

The initial KT deal had to be presented to the cabinet by the DOC to explain what the deal would mean for Telkom etc. The DOC did not arrive for the presentation on time and came unprepared hence the cabinet had to say no to it.

I would be more surprised if ministers arrived on time for anything.

How do you explain the time lapse of several months between the ongoing media reports of the KT deal and cabinet's decision to kill the KT deal?
 
they did however decide what to have for lunch
