Telkom PC bundles - anything worthwhile?

Mecer LCD cost price is comparable with the price of LG LCDs on the PCInt page...
 
I was just checking those LCD's out today ....... not bad over 36months.
 
They're not HD, so probably an older model. New 42" HD is R 13,999.00 at Makro.

no idea on both counts ........ I just know that that 42" is looking mighty fine. then I'll have a bigger one in mah room than is in the lounge :D


Edit: what, they aren't HD?
 
From what "i" see, you are probably going to be very unhappy when you realise that what you paid isn't really worth what you got.

Ya, the PCs are too expensive and the lappies as well. But the LG LCDs...I am not sure
 
The thing is not everyone can afford 5k straight off the bat so these kinds of deal are not that bad, just means your paying 2-3 times as much but you don't have to shell out 5-20k at once.

Yeah. The deals you get with cellphone contracts will work out much better over the 24 months than most of these.

If I could just find out the model of those LCDs, I could compare the prices with the price you pay over 24/36 months.
