Telkom planning free ADSL upgrades: sources

Industry speculation suggests that Telkom is planning to upgrade entry-level ADSL speeds

As long as the exchanges and backbone links are upgraded also.
No point getting faster connection to a local congested exchange ;-)

Apparently there doing this which is why it's taking longer than expected. Was supposed to happend end of last year, but the upgrades are taking longer than expected.

The last round of upgrades were just software upgrades.
