Telkom invoiced me incorrectly for R15835, this has been on going from 25th October, to date the matter has not been resolved. I've been calling almost everyday in vain, nobody can give you any feed back, neither can the store manager help, apparently nobody is allowed to give senior management contact details, not even an email address, the call centre manager refused to come on the phone.. He/she told the agent they are busy and I must go to the store!!! What kind of business is this that there is no management or senior people accountable for us consumers to go to, is there no reporting structure in telkom? What I feared has happened today, my account was debted however I purposely transferred my funds because I knew this would happen so the transaction was returned, now I'm afraid to use my account because telkom is going to debt for something that is incorrect and worse I will probably have to pay the R200 fee for not having sufficient funds!!! I need to get into contact with the Kzn regional manager, can someone please forward his email address to me, my email is [email protected].

There is no Telkom rep here, maybe someone will be able to assist you.

Have you tried Twitter? They were responsive there back in the day.

The one lesson Ive taught my kids..don't ever do business with a company like Telkom..rather go to Vodacom or MTN..u may pay more but u will generally get decent service..these government departments don't know what customer service is..

Telkom Mobile isn't actually cheaper than those two depending on what contract you get. Not to mention how difficult it is to get telkom to actually get a contract signup right. I struggled to get a prepaid nr ported to the contract. Lucky me, it was a sim only deal, so ended up cancelling and moving away. Found a better deal for what I wanted elsewhere too.

Not MTN if its for a phone or similar that gets outsourced, unless you want to deal with billing issues. MTN uncapped internet/routers are through MTN direct and seems to be better administered.

Telkom are actually being proper useless lately, unable to even action what is advertised on thier site.

I would not touch Telkom with a 10 foot pole..I remember the days when I had ADSL..it was a nightmare every time something went wrong.phoning 10210 and being transferred from pillar to post

Sorry about your experience.

Which number did you call?

Have you gone into store?

Do you have ref. numbers?

Why cant the supervisor come to the line?

Have you tried Hellopeter?

It's fked up how little power the consumer has.

@Marlinee .... I think you can try Wendy Knowler at [email protected]. Send her a detailed view of what happened with references if possible and attachments, be straight to the point and short. Highlight the amount and the background as well, but I hope you have done something tangible so far.

Telkom Mobile is actually a lot better than Telkom, almost as if it's a completely different company.

But, still doesn't say much though
