Cape Town news has discovered a security hole in Telkom’s premium combo DSL router that allows hackers to obtain a DSL account’s username and password.

Telkom gave me absolutely no assistance in discovering how my account details had been discovered. I believed my router to be secured. I got no replies to my queries.

Thanks, yes I believe everyone should read this, Telkom just hand out the routers and leave the customers to do it, maybe they should have a sticker on all modem boxes warning customers of the dangers of not changing the default passwords.
