Telkom prepares to launch 5G

Telkom has deployed 5G sites in selected parts of the country and is now optimizing the user experience ahead of a commercial roll-out.

Telkom will be the fourth mobile operator in South Africa to launch 5G after Rain, Vodacom, and MTN.

These sites are in Sandton, Rosebank etc ...our market strategy is to deploy in areas that are over saturated, it only makes sense to deploy in the more affluent areas as there are definitely more rich than there is lower to medium income house holds ... pinky and the brain mentality.... apologies to pinky and the brain you guys are definitely smarter

Yeah no shyte! Any business will target areas where they can attempt to recoup their costs.

It's not a charity FFS.

Lol ... you really need to read between the lines ... it’s me being sarcastic ... i keep saying the stupid should have been kept in school on Saturdays and Sundays... Since you shoot from the hip here’s some info for you ... Vuma reach project is making more money selling to the masses by keeping the entry in the market affordable... in the first year initial capital outlay is recovered after that its clean profit... All I am saying is there strategy is wrong I didn’t ask for a freebie to handed out

Good to see that they have foresight and are optimising the experience.
If pricing is good, I'm all for it.
