Telkom retrenchment plan gets new timeline

I know there has been a lot of negativity towards Telkom's retrenchment plans, but cutting out middle management to a leaner and flatter management structure is one of the known ways to effectively save on costs and reduce turnaround time for new initiatives/projects etc. I hope if they do go through with it they at least do it properly and not just to "cut on costs" and end up not being able to deliver, I mean sadly some people will lose their jobs if they go through with this, so lets hope it's not in vein and at the very least in the best interest of all the stakeholders.
 
You are wrong they are shown as voluntary but there is a clause which states the final decision lie with the management,should they feel they still need you they won't let you go irrespective of you decision or choice.I am talking from experience
