Telkom smells the coffee

these schemes may not be what we want but i think option3 is a start to something good....normally rental is R91.62 and now R300 which is R208.38 more and it gives me 1000 min peak time. I have lots of family scattered around SA (= long distance calls ) and my mother makes calls peak time as well. now peak min effectively cost me 21c per min incl long distance and i get the free off peak calls.....it works for me.....may not work for everyone as everyones normal home bill may not be R300 normally - my bill is normally double that and now it will hopefully be R300 and not a cent more...
guaranteed: if a SNO was not looming we would not get this deal and definitely more deals will be coming and they will be better-thats my hope anyway...

My parents have had option 3 on their line, and option 2 on mine and my bro's line for about a month or two now, and our phone bills have come down DRASTICLY!! Those 1000 minutes even out into 45 minutes per day (22 week days in a month), and trust me - the unlimited off peak calls are amazing!! And you get used to having to call back after an hour if you need to, it's not even a trainsmash. Gives you both a chance to get something to drink before your throat dries out again from the talking :p

BT is fine and well thank, and living in England. BT made a profit last year (though if you look at the losses they're carrying they actually made a loss.) BT would prefer to make a loss than be the most publicly hated company in britain - like our esteemed telco here.

you know that telkom is bollocks when i can say that BT was NEVER this bad. and BT in the 80s and early 90s was BAAAAAAAAAD.

christ on a stick.

i REALLY wish my boyfriend would be willing to move back to west africa with me. if anything, for the cheaper phone service (and cheaper bank fees)

Yup, BT had a wakeup pill - still to be administered to telkom
