I know everyone has a rant about Telkom and it's boring but I just have to do this.

Firstly, I keep asking myself how in the bleeding heavens we managed to get ourselves into the situation where we have to rely on a company like Telkom? I'm mean, they're 24 carat Unreliable!

Please can someone advise me as to how I can find a cell phone number for a bribeable Telkom technician in the Blouberg/Big Bay area?

After a week of waiting for a technician, my fault query was mysteriously closed on Saturday. The helpless lady at the call centre assures me that a technician went to the exchange on Saturday and so the case was closed. I told her he may have gone there, but all he did was smoke dagga and not any work.

May case has been "ESCALATED" for the 6th time in 7 days now but, because it's only just been reopened, a technician has not yet been assigned! The helpless lady cannot tell me when a technician will be assigned and so I wait!

Please. Someone give me a number.
 
You can try drop TelkomZA on this forum a PM and see whether Charl and his team are able to assist.

Probably be a lot easier than dealing with the Telkom call centre.
 
Thanks for that. I got straight through to the lady on that list. She couldn't help me though. Referred me to 10210.

Did you tell her that you had a ref number and that it was closed while the fault is still outstanding?

She replied. Told her about the ref and the closed fault. She said I must get it sorted through 10210. She knew about the technician that went to the exchange on Saturday and that there was a problem there.

My aching nerves....

That's BS. That fault should not have been closed.
