Telkom to streamline retail pricing

What the hell is Telkom trying to do? First they claim that SAT3 exclusivity only ends in November, now that LLU will take over 3 years (Not to underestimate CASA's incompetence, but I doubt even they could make it take that long).
Are they hoping if they wish hard enough it will be true?

LLU is probably a very complicated legal thing (maybe Dominic can comment).
Plus, ICASA is incompetent.

This is just a regulatory process??!! What's going to take 3 years.
And it's not like Telkom paid for the local loop in the first place... we did... with tax!!!

well technically the gov signed an agreement a long time ago that LLU will occur 2yrs after the SNO/Neotel is licensed but like all things it can be done earlier if they really forced it me thinks. I hope they mean cheaper

Telkom has spoken, and ICASA will obey, If telkom says 3 years, ICASA will make sure it takes 3 years

No... the best option would be to slice up Telkom and sell off all the little bits

The final report would be completed towards the middle of the year "
Another total waste of tax payers money, I wonder how many million this lot cost, say one million a meeting, seven million for nothing, what a joke
