Telkom Uncapped vs Plugg vs OW 2Mb which one?

Hi guys

Im in the market for a new ISP, as i moved houses.

Big Up to Telkom firstly for their service, i applied for a line on 03/06/2013 and it was installed 06/03/2013
So thanks again, my line stats are also very pleasing.

So out of the three which of you guys would say is overall better service, i have a 2Mb line and generally do around 80Gb a month.

I generally do online gaming Battlefield 3 and Dota 2, and downloading series..

so i need something that will provide gaming with priority, ( i know uncapped not for gaming) but some ISP's have recognized this.

Just some advice on this guys, would be very much appreciated.

I switched to Telkom last weekend. Took the Simple Uncapped Plus. All included, R648pm all in (telephone, closer2, adsl rental and uncapped data). Brilliant so far. I hear the threshold on a Telkom 2MB is around 250GB for the month before they throttle you. I've never gotten anywhere near that, even when I was with MWEB, so I'm not too phased by it.

If you don't already have ADSL, you will score as new subscriber and pay R644pm, plus get a free wifi router, 3G dongle and 500MB 3G data once off.

If going this route be 100% sure you are not signing in to a long term contract.

I would personally go with OpenWeb, I have had very few issues with them in the past few years. It also means I have one less reason to have to try and get support from Telkom.

It's month to month. I triple checked that.

Confirmed.

I cancelled, kept the gadge and switched to OW :D

Telkom is best if you're going to use less than their ~250GB FUP (figure may change). Throttling sucks.
OW is best if you're trying to back up the web. Shaping > Throttling.
Plugg is in between- similar to OW until you exceed the threshold, wtf that is. Throttled from there, which sucks.
