Hi I Logged a Call for unstable connection, and it was a quick response to check and then told me the underground line is faulty, How long will it take to repair that as im about 3km from exhange.

Hi I Logged a Call for unstable connection, and it was a quick response to check and then told me the underground line is faulty, How long will it take to repair that as im about 3km from exhange.
It should take about a week or 2 to complete the repair. Mine took about 5 days. PM your fault reference no to TelkomZA (Charl) and ask him to contact the tech manager in your area and see if your fault can get escalated to the cabling department asap.
Thanks all my Case is now with Cabling department, so waiting to hear from them now. Even got told i will not be charged for adsl for the period that it's down. Must say service from Telkom via Twitter is very good
