Telkom Underground Cable Fault

Hi I Logged a Call for unstable connection, and it was a quick response to check and then told me the underground line is faulty, How long will it take to repair that as im about 3km from exhange.
 
I have a line that has been down for over a month and that is in a predominantly business area in Pretoria, so yeah look at backup connections!
 
Yikes, I moved to Telkom since im in a Mobile Dead spot so dont have other options, Vodacom even cancelled contract with no charges due to the lack of signal

It should take about a week or 2 to complete the repair. Mine took about 5 days. PM your fault reference no to TelkomZA (Charl) and ask him to contact the tech manager in your area and see if your fault can get escalated to the cabling department asap.

Thanks all my Case is now with Cabling department, so waiting to hear from them now. Even got told i will not be charged for adsl for the period that it's down. Must say service from Telkom via Twitter is very good

Thats good never get helped with their twitter account only facebook and had a Telkom guy already come and check and did a port reset and now it is fine here and hope it stays that way :D.

Twitter, Facebook, TelkomZA (on MyBB and HelloPeter) are all the same group of people (e.g. Charl).
