Telkom upgrades in my area

Lucky. I'm in Midrand and hoping they'll be upgrading and installing new ports here. They are digging and laying cable on Lever road, but I'm not sure that its Telkom doing it.
 
Anyone know when Benmore Gardens will be upgraded? I live in the area and there's a TONNE of construction all over the roads, but it's hard to tell if they're telkom, eskom, jhb water ect...

Also, if broadbandstats.co.za says you are connected to the Benmore Gardens exchange, does that mean that I fall under the "MSANS-to-be-enabled" section?

How exactly does this work? If your exchange gets the upgrade do you automatically get forced to 40mbps or do you get an option to be part of the trial? Do you pay extra to trial? Is there downtime? Thanks
 
One of my old buddies from school told me that his father who works at telkom told him that they will begin installing MSANs here in Bellville also, if they didn't already start.

Yesterday I typed my number in the Telkom ADSL checker and finally my exchange supports 4Mbps, and it is 10Mbps ready.
