Telkom upgrading there lines?

I have heard that telkom is upgrading there 384 line to a 512 line in june, is this correct? And are they doing any other upgrades to any of there other lines, like the 512 for example? Hope u can help.. Thanks
 
If you google "Telkom upgrade 384 512" you will find threads as old as 2005 with the same questions and claims. I doubt it but it sure will be a welcome change.

One thing is for sure. Telkom will have to do something when Seacom and the new Western Cable arrives.

Yup many "official" rumours
I liked the one where they were upgrading 384k to 1 meg, and 512k to 4 meg, and 4meg to 8 meg.

Ah yes, sucked that one out of my thumb end last year some time... :P Got some angry PM about that... ;) And even some people that confirmed it :eek:
