Fixed that for you

Currently its only the areas from the trial run, don't know if they will actually say anything about areas they plan to upgrade first, (those areas on the list are sadly unconfirmed) besides as the prices currently are very few people and possibly businesses can afford to pay for it, as it doesn't make sense to have a very fast capped account, all it means is your data is going to be finished faster.

But if you meant tower and LTE check here

If you have an existing line you can check if there are upgrades in your area by going here: http://www.telkom.co.za/noticeboard/index.do

I'm not sure if it will specifically tell you if it's for VDSL, but it does tell you if there are planned upgrades in the area.

Question was just out of general interest. As a bottom feeder I will probably only see VDSL speeds when we get forced upgraded like the recent 384K to 1Mb bump. By then the top speeds will be 1Gbps.
