Telkom vs MaD

hey kaspaas, how you doing..
we are awaiting Telskom's replying affidavit, their deadline was 31 March and of course, being Telkom, we haven't heard from them. What they DID say however is that they want to wait and hear what the verdict is against Laugh it Off, pretty bloody stupid cos its a different matter entirely as LiO sells T-shirts for money - Hellkom is a public information website which makes not a cent..

It's a wait and see game but if they're gonna bugger me around then i will reciprocate.. got my first legal bill yesterday too ;) many people have said the law in SA is backwards and if I lose this case then I would know that for a fact.

waiting for the laugh-it-off judgement?????there is nothing in the LIO matter as it has been heard in the high court, supreme court of appeal or constitutional court which in any way changes the law in favour of telkom. the law will remain exactly as it was when telkom were ill-advised to go and throw their weight around and try and intimidate hellkom into disappearing and i for one would be gobsmacked if telkom at some stage did not try and get out of this (in which case screw them as hard as possible)

this is like the AYCE e-mail times 1000 - a bully trying to get its way by intimidation when the law in no way supports them

can't wait for this to go further - get to watch telkom making absolute arses of themselves (again)

That just shows you. They hire people, pay them 5x more than people in the same positions elsewhere and then they still cant see that LIO made money from their jokes, Hellkom just posts jokes. When do they start legal battles against newspaper cartoonists?

Sorry I'm in a bad mood today, and if Ms word gives a C++ runtime error once more im gonna throw the pc out the window.

Yea it will be good to see this go futher but I feel sorry for Mad who has to pay for all this just because the cares about this country. To think this is nothing more than a sick joke from our beloved Telkom. :(

Where is the love?
