Lol, forget about entering the "competition"! Businesses opportunity for 2020, open a premium rated Telkom FPB complaints call centre. They can't even sort the service they have been in for the last 100 years. Guess Sipho might land up in jail, eventually.

The real question is are they going to deliver it seamlessly via a firmware update to their existing network of LIT boxes? I mean that makes sense right? Hell, make it free and charge for advertising, like everywhere else.

The last time there was a 'good' deal with Telkom it was the R7.00 a call to Dial Up To The Internet after hours 20 years ago.
But those bastards would often drop my call on a Saturday afternoon and I would Dial in again for another 7 bux

Voetsek Telkom, go die with SABC

Rafiq Phi11ips on Twitter: @Nicholas_Duncan @alanknottcraig unless DC. knowing telkom dial-up it's highly likely

Sounds like 2007 again

Telkom's planned offerings — available through its new offshoot, the R7billion Telkom Media — include flexible satellite television bouquets, a video-on-demand service, a 24-hour news channel with its own staffers and 20 mobile broadcast units, multiple sports channels, television delivered via broadband and other additional web-based content available on demand.

"It will also include a wide range of TV channels available to customers from most major networks."

It would be nice if they include the Sky sport and movie bundles. Now that will be competition to dstv...
