Why am I not able to retrieve my stats on the SAIX website while using my TelkomInternet account. Same with the stats program from Ant1b0dy.

While using my TelkomInternet account my two WebAfrica accounts will download stats, but TelkomInternet account wont, says incorrect username/password or authentication errors.

Same when I try login on the SAIX page. When I login with my WebAfrica accounts it shows usage stats, TelkomInternet, Authorisation denied...

HOWEVER, if I login with WebAfrica then I can access ALL three accounts stats page.

Is this something to do with concurrent connections? ALSO when I use the program from Ant1b0dy, everytime the program checks the logs, WebAfricas authentication page shows one connection, but with no ip-address assigned.
 
I can access the stats at the SAIX page, so it must be a problem in your area, I don't know about the second question though.

Could be area related, but dont know :S - maybe just random accounts... like some people can login with concurrent connections and some cant.
 
Yeah it was with my telscum account, the problem you have is very strange hey? I really wonder what's up :rolleyes: ;)
 
Something at Telkom is screwed. My friend phoned today and they said there is problems authenticating, so maybe it has something to do with that. I also cannot login
 
Apparently Telkom recently set the max number of concurrent connections to 1 for all their users. The SAIX authorisation is thus failing when connecting via the same account because the SAIX authentication request counts as +1 connection (it seems they don't distinguish between real connections and authentication requests from SAIX).

A Telkom consultant should be able to increase the number of concurrent connections back to 2 for you which should solve the problem.

The real solution is for Telkom not to count SAIX requests as 'new connections' though but I seriously doubt they'll ever fix it. :)
