TelkomInternet 3gb capping policy

Hi,
I was just wondering, if you use up you allocation are you throttled to 64k internationally but still unlimited locally, can someone post their experiences post cap on this package?

Nope you get hard capped, meaning nothing at all. That goes for any SAIX based account

Another option is that you can signup for one of the ISP's that sell the 30GB account [Internet Solution resellers, note latency will be higher due to international running over satellite however local will be fine. Me gonna switch over sOon ] so you get 3 GB international and the rest is used locally [best option is the Newsgroups, just do a search for more info ] and hope that helps answer the question.

Look.here.for.ISPs.
simply look for the ones that include 30GB

As cyph3r said, altho it all depends what you gona be using the line for... If ur a online gamer or something, dont even think about IS account, go SAIX..

Yes, do have a look around before automatically choosing telkom. They are not the best that there is out there.

Also, do a search of the forum before posting. Often you will find something like this has been spoken about many times before and all you questions will be answered there and then.
