Telkominternet bandwidth usage

Hey,

I've been away for a day or two and 800mb has been added to my internet account. Can I check where the connections are coming from or do I need to call Telkom to sort this out?

The "NASPORT" differs on the one that I cannot account for. But would I only be on one? I mean would mine always be the same?

Some n00b is using your username and password.

Losing bandwidth

Hey,

I've been away for a day or two and 800mb has been added to my internet account. Can I check where the connections are coming from or do I need to call Telkom to sort this out?

Something similar happened to me a year or so ago.
* I had closed my mail but left my browser open
* The web page I was on (a well known blog) had a programming problem and was consuming bandwidth despite the PC being 'idle'. It consumed about 9GB fortunately at the end of the month (and I didn't get capped)
* At the time I blamed Telkom but then I installed some tracking software (for the life of me I cannot remember the name)
* Then it happened again and I discovered the offending web page
* the blogs administrator fixed the problem so I have not mentione dits name

Monitor these closely!

Bandwidth theft. Maybe they knew you were going away
