How long did they take to cap on of ur account? Like lets say u went over 3 gig in one day, how many days after did they cap u?

Wanna work out a pattern so I can try maximize my downloads on my 0.3mbit line :p

Account #1

Account #2
58.1 GB

Coulda done more but I was downloading 4.37GB at a time & burning to DVD LOL

Do you just go up to like 10GB, and then go straight out for 2x 24 hours?

Personal rule that may apply to others is once I am over 3GB even by 1MB I will start the download spree [all useful stuff & not for the sake of it as BW is expensive  ].

Yes that is correct on the upto 4MB trial .
I honestly don't know when I will be capped but I check the router almost every hour hehe.

Maybe this may help but it goes something like this.

Got a Newshosting.com $14.99 Unlimited Option
They say you must pay extra $5.00 for 70days but the 14.99 option has upto 68days for me for few months now as apposed to 35days.

Use grabit 1.5.3 Beta

Setup using proxycap [essentially allows to download via a proxy if the application does not support it. Proxy is cache.saix.net Port: 8080]

2 iNTERNAL HDDs & 1 EXTERNAL HDD

HDD #1 is for Grabit cache
HDD#2 is download folder
External HDD is to dump & burn on the laptop

Another tip is watch the forums carefully to know when someone experiences any problems & check the SAiX noticeboard all the time for planned work aswell.

Its crazy I know but hey it works & it feels good to screw telkom back with all this **** we have to put up with. ;)

Yeah you do the same thing I do, BUT I dont go the second I am over 3GB

I wait until I am at ~10GB then go all out for 24 hours, reconnect before midnight and get another 25 hours.
