TelkomInternet October Capping Stats

Telkom Do2 - Capped @ 3.0430GB - Axxess 5GB local still going strong.

Gonna get rid of this Do crap. Get Webafrica with Intbrowse + axxess

Not sure what happened last month as it never got capped and the only reason I stopped at just under 14GB is because I ran out of download links and disk space.:D

i normally get 6gb as well. last month i got 8.5gb. i was just curious cos i'm amazed that u got so much out of it.

I was also amazed and would have collected more download links and made space if I knew it would just keep going.

I can't think of anything special that I did last month, maybe telkom capping system was not functioning properly since I noticed that quite a few other users (including yourself) also got a fair bit more than normal.:confused:

yeah it is strange, although i know someone who got 12.5gb a few months back.
 
OT- can one of you datawhores who has received a "you are abusing your cap" letter from TelkomInternet please email me the standard letter Telkom sends? Addy is my nick @ antitrust.co.za. I'd like a copy of the letter for my own references.... and starting to prep for another complaint to the Complaints and Compliance Committee re ADSL regulations.

This is the reason telkom and the ISPs have capped accounts and the "fair usage" accounts, can anyone imagine if there was no cap how screwed up the system would be.:eek:
 
I got my email from Telkom stating that i have been capped, but on their email they say i used 3.29GB, whereas the SAIX tracker shows 51.7GB
 
Ive just got capped at 7.66 GB but the thing is i can still browse any local site and still download local torrents. Anyone else getting this too?
