Hi folks

My apologies for the absence and the fact that the news section was not updated yesterday. Telkom decided it was a great idea to simply disconnect our office line for absolutely no reason. It took over 24 hours and three trips to the local Telkom office to get it connected again. If you are ever in the same position, please ensure that your complaint is ‘escalated’. Threatening legal action seems to be the clincher…

Regards,

RPM

aiish !

I feel your pain rpm, when I go offline my business becomes essentiall useless !

Centurion Hospice also has problems: Their phones are down since yesterday. Telkom promised to repair it by the 18th.

The Hospice provides home care to terminal ill patients.

Just think about the unneeded distress added to these peoples lives by not being able to easily contact the care centre.

Obviously Telkom cares nothing about people.

When Telkom goes down, my business goes down, we run many charity web sites, and provide email to non profit org, that are in charity work etc, Telscum care nothinf for them, try get a refund, I think that we should get together and bring a class action against Telscum ! who is in with me.

I think if an eample can be made, Telscum would think twice before switching circuts off. !

Well our office line has been playing up and down since Thursday, no ETA when it will be fixed or what might be wrong. Glad I run on Sentech in the office (never thought I would say that).

That sucks - why don't you kick up a huge fuss and claim you need a R100 dicount on your next months adsl; i could think of lots of reasons why you need R100...
