Telkom's mobile voice and data plans

With cell calls at 99c per minute, I think you missed the boat guys.
Telkom plans to offer femtocells to improve in-building cellular coverage in the near future. It also already offers businesses the option of making calls from smartphones over fixed lines, instead of the cellular network. This is according to managing director of Telkom Business, Brian Armstrong.
Skype / SIP / other VOIP over ADSL from smartphone - we've been having it!

Everyone will want to protect their own revenue streams and will try to defend the stance. The cellular networks would do the same as telkom, hence cell routing. But yes, VOIP/skype has been there for a long time.

I am also thinking that Telkom is pricing themselves out of the market. With the recent drop in CellC prices, fixed line telephone is becoming more and more irrelevant. Paying 57c/minute fixed line to fixed line and R1.40/minute to cellphones vs 99c/minute everywhere.

Sorry, but the title of this article was misleading whilst the article itself was a big waste of time
