The only way you'll really get it to activate from experience is putting it into a cell that telkom sees as a supported device. Also unlikely to support vowifi only volte
Cool, I meant telkom unlikely to support vowifi on your new phone. It’s VoWifi. Will try take a pic shortly
iPhone 11 Pro MaxHi,
What device are you trying to use it on?
It's sad that one has escalate resolve this. But then, it's Telkom.UPDATE - So after months of trying all different parts of Telkom, I finally resolved the WiFi calling issue. This was done via messaging directly on Twitter to @TelkomSA. At first, they did not understand what I wanted. So the best way to communicate what is needed is... "Please activate VoLTE on the SIM card." Don't ask for WiFi Calling, or VoWiFi, or anything else. Just VoLTE to be activated. This should allow automatically for VoWiFi to work. Believe it or not, the Telkom VoWifi works better than Vodacom's VoWiFi...
Hope this helps other folks out there.
Mine's is activated on my sim card, but it's blocked based on the phone that I am using (which I got through Telkom in the first place). I placed a Cell C Sim card in my phone and VoWIFI and VoLTE are both activated and the settings visible. Telkom are not blanket activating it for each and every device type. No idea why thoughUPDATE - So after months of trying all different parts of Telkom, I finally resolved the WiFi calling issue. This was done via messaging directly on Twitter to @TelkomSA.
