After much hassle (calling 10210 for days on end, line dropping, crawling speeds, etc.) with my 4Mbps ADSL line and TI ISP account for the past few months, I received a call from Charl from Telkom (via TelkomZA) who knew what he was talking about and sorted out my profile on the exchange.

I will monitor it tonight and see if things are stable but it is good to get good service and access to professionals at Telkom who can actually do something besides reset my line.

It's good to know there are some helpful and knowledgeable people at Telkom and hope it continues to improve, especially at the price point they are currently at - Actually starting to look like a decent service provider (was on Mweb 4Mbps Uncapped).

I've given up on the Telkom Call Center, they really have no clue. Dealing with the guys on the twitter and via PM is fantastic, and shows me there are actually people working there that know what they are doing and want to provide a good service.

I think something is coming down the line, and Telkom knows this and is *trying* to pull up their socks and put on their big boy pants.

Good to see.
