Our land lady has a R50 per day fine if you are late (I have not been late once in the 5 years I have lived here, found this out from a neighbour).

Possibly try the same next time round.

i rent a flat and i pay my landlord the day i get paid. i sleep easier knowing my dues are all paid.
defaulters are so selfish... they don't care the owner has a bond to pay and other expenses to cover.

Could you not just turn off electricity or/and water if they a late ? That'll be an incentive and a reminder to the tenants!

Just told them to get out... they did, helps that I'm 6'6" and 110kg and my father matches lol

They left it in a state though...
